Test Results

Introduction
With so many roulette systems available, it's understandable why there is so much discussion about the validity of the claims of any system.  Does the system work?  How was it tested?  What is its success?  These are valid questions.  The problem is with so many roulette players in the world there does not seem to be one valid testing standard that everyone can agree upon.  Tests that are valid to some are not valid to others.  For some, if it does not meet “their criteria”, whatever those criteria may be, then in their perception the system is unproven and therefore, according to their criteria, does not work.  Magnus states that true validation simply put “is the ability to consistently win”.

The Magnus Roulette System™ has been the subject of rigorous testing over the years.  As matter of fact, the continual testing is a major reason for many of the improvements developed in the Magnus Roulette System™ that has led to its overall performance again simply put, to help individuals consistently win.  This attention to test results and its exceptional performance make the Magnus Roulette System™ the finest roulette system publicly available.  Adequate, complete testing has been the cornerstone of the system development process, both in evaluating the system’s individual parts and the overall roulette system performance.  Maximizing performance has always been the overriding consideration.

Knowing that questions about the validation process was very important, we at Magnus Roulette System™ established testing objectives to: 1) devise a test that would validate the Magnus Roulette System™ works; 2) use a valid test that would be conclusive and undeniable to all, and 3) provide a valid test that would cross cultural and continental boundaries.

Our final approach to the testing question satisfies all three goals.

 Testing Formats
There are many ways that products are tested before entering the public market place.  The products may vary from radio’s to roulette systems but the process for designing an analytical or functional test plan and documenting the results remain relatively the same regardless of the product.  The important aspect is how the test is structured because the structure of the test can greatly influence the results.  In this case, by structure we are talking about length of test, chip values, betting parameters (table limits), averaging results, weighted averages, skewing data, deleting extreme data points beyond test ranges, etc.  When dealing with data streams, caution needs to be taken in understanding the parameters of the test.  Only then can one understand the applicability of the test results as it applies to real life play.

The common methods of validating roulette systems are:

1)   Mathematical Modeling

2)   Downloaded Online Roulette Software for Simulations

3)   Computer Generated Simulations

4)   Actual Play

Mathematical Modeling - Has both strong points and its weaknesses.  The modeling is based on probabilities and this gives us a strong indicator of strength.  But as good as the model may look; the models are long-term probabilities and represent the approximate outcome over a great many spins.  The short-term actual result may be greatly different.  Ask anyone who has ever used a Martingale-based system and continued to double-up his or her wager on Red saying, “It has to come up”.  It's a matter of long-term mathematical probabilities versus short-term actual casino results.

Downloaded Roulette Software for Simulations - There are numerous places to download Roulette software from the Internet or purchase commercial gaming software that the player can utilize to test a system.  These are generally good tools to provide an indicator of how well the system will do against the computer’s random number generator.  With this approach the player moves from theoretical mathematical modeling to actual results against a random number generator.  Successes here will give the player a warm feeling about being able to play at any of the online casinos.  Its strength is that it is an independent source.  Its weakness is that all the interested parties to the roulette system cannot witness it.  Written documentation of test results can be retained, dated and signed as authentic, but because it is not easy to witness by more than a few, some doubters will question the authenticity of the results.  In addition, using this approach, no two individuals will get exactly the same results because of the random number generators thus; duplicating the result becomes the issue.  Then comes the question who’s numbers are correct?   Therefore, this test approach is not a strong method of validation agreeable to all.

Computer Generated Simulations / Test - A couple of popular validation methods are the Hamburg Spielbank Test and the Roulette Tester by Zumma Publications.

The Zumma Roulette Tester is a list of 15,000 actual numbers documented from real roulette wheels grouped into segments of a thousand spins.  In theory, using this approach to test the long-term capability of a system may sound reasonable but a closer look reveals a startling point.  That point is.... “No one actually plays the game this way”!  If you were to duplicate, at the roulette wheel, the first thousand spins of the Roulette Tester, using 1 spin every 45 seconds, the amount of time this would take at approximately 80 spins per hour is 12.5 hours to complete the full 1,000 spins.  In reality, who plays this way?  No one plays for 12.5 hours straight!  They take restroom breaks, meal breaks, or just rest breaks.  In addition, coming back to the table is not the same thing as picking up the next number in the sequence of numbers in the Zumma Roulette Tester book.  Coming back from the break the player has the choice of re-qualifying tables, changing dealers or casinos and when to start of playing.  Restarting is generally a timing issue for the player and the skilled player will not enter a table blindly, as the Roulette Tester would have you do.  Unfortunately, the Roulette Tester does not adequately represent how we actually play the game when seated at the tables.  Since this approach does not reflect how we actually play in the casino, it has little value other than being purely academic.

In the Hamburg Spielbank Test the roulette system is computer programmed to running a million or more simulated spins.  The Hamburg Spielbank Test is the same situation as the Roulette Tester by Zumma Publishing only with larger numbers and computerized.  A million spins would take approximately 521 days of non-stop play to complete.  If you don’t play this way, then how is this test really applicable?

The player’s breaks, re-qualifying of the table and dealers, or just letting several spins go by can have dramatic impact for the player.  The truth is the player plays for the short term…not the long term.  Just think about your longest session at one time.  And what does “winning in the long term” mean to you?  Do you want a simulation over many rolls that does not reflect the way you actually play or do you really want a system that continually wins day in and day out, week after week, month after month and year after year.  Again, in theory, this approach to validation sounds reasonable but it is terribly flawed in that it does not reflect how we actually play the game.

Actual Play - Actual play is far and away the best of the validation methods because it moves the player from the realm of theory and mathematical modeling of what should have happened to Actual Performance of the roulette system.  But this approach has its drawbacks.  First, most players do not want to make a real cash investment at the tables until they know the system works.  Second, if we were to provide a practical demonstration of the system under normal gaming conditions, only a handful of spectators would be able to get close enough to watch the table and see how the Magnus Roulette System™ is played.  Another problem with the Actual Play method is the actual time it takes to go through the spins and the time availability of the interested parties.

The Magnus Roulette System™

Response to the Testing Question

 Is

 Actual Performance

Clearly the absolute best method of testing validation is Actual Performance.  Thus, as we at Magnus Roulette System™ considered the testing validation requirements for the Magnus Roulette System™, the following factors were considered to be most relevant and representative:

·A test that would demonstrate the Magnus Roulette System™ works,

·A test that would allow the system to be played as it would in the casino,

·A test that would be conclusive to all,

·A test that would cross cultural and continental boundaries,

·A test of sufficient length,

·A test conducted through a source completely independent from Magnus Roulette System™,

·A test in a public format so that interested parties could status results at their convenience, and

·At the conclusion of the test the unbiased results would be posted in a public format/forum.

Magnus Roulette System™ found a way to validate the roulette system that allows us to meet all of the requirements above.  It comes through an international roulette tournament run through www.masterspin.com.  This site runs a weekly international roulette tournament with players from around the world.  They status the games daily showing the top ten players and publicly post the results at the end of the week with the prize money going to the top five players for the week.  The reason this is a unique site is they use a live video camera that scans the table and wheel.  All players are playing against a real live dealer, are able to watch the spin of the ball and the results are posted real time.  It’s as close to real casino play that you can get without walking into a casino.  It’s an independent source and there is no manipulation or altering of the actual results.  They report the true and accurate result.

Here is how the Magnus Roulette System™ came out.  You can verify these results for yourself at www.masterspin.com <http://www.masterspin.com>.  At the home page, highlight the Tournament Tab and then highlight the Scores.  The results, by week, are listed under Magnus, Austin, USA.

1)   Finished in the top 10 ten players -- 10 weeks in a row.  No other player or system can make…and back up this claim.  This fully demonstrates that the Magnus Roulette System™ not only wins, but also consistently wins week in and week out.  Further, the results show conclusively that the system can consistently overcome both the short and long term streaks that we all know exist.  The dedicated play of the Magnus Roulette System™ is not the result of any one lucky week.

2)   Finished in the top 5 players winning Tournament Prize Money -- 3 out of 10 weeks.  Although finishing as tournament champion would be nice, the Magnus Roulette System™ is about maximizing performance to consistently and systematically win rather than win due to an arbitrary lucky win.

3)   Average winnings per week - $3,069.  This is the average winnings per week over the 10-week period.  This was accomplished with normal play using $1, $5, $10 and $25 chips and doing nothing different than any player would do on an average trip to their local casino.  This average was achieved by playing a few sessions a day with the use of breaks.  It’s using the true to form type of play that you as the player would use in the casino; taking breaks and the option to not necessarily play every spin.

4)  The total winnings for the 10-week period were $30,688.   This was done with the very tight table limits of $25 maximum on the inside bets.

5)   The System works.  It is not an accident.  It’s all in the process and the process gives you the performance.  When you can win week in and week out, it’s not a matter of luck.  It’s how you use the system and how the system approaches the game.  It’s the discipline to let the system work.  This does not mean winning all the time.  Nobody wins all the time.  But by controlling the session the player can consistently win in the long run.  It’s all part of the process.  Winning every week speaks for itself.

6)   Actual results proven in an international arena.  These are the actual results in an international arena against world-class roulette players.  These tournament players are players who know how to play the game; are dedicated to playing the game and play the game with competitive aggressiveness to win.  Yet, The Magnus Roulette System™ was the only one that consistently won week after week.  This is a tremendous feat with this level of competition.  The tournament and results are run and reported by a totally independent source with nothing to gain by reporting actual results.

7)   Actual Weekly Tournament Results.  Verifiable at www.masterspin.com <http://www.masterspin.com>.  At the home page, highlight the tournament tab and then highlight the score tab.  The results are under Magnus, Austin, USA.

Customer Alert Notice
There is a new vendor selling roulette systems under the name “Roulette Master Win System”.  They sell versions of the Martingale systems that have proven over the ages not to work but the name they are using is strikingly similar to our website name of “Roulette Masters”.  The names are so similar that it could easily confuse the public into buying systems that do not work and mistakenly say that “Roulette Masters - Magnus Roulette System™” does not work.  Currently, this website is the only authorized source to procure this original copyrighted, patent-pending Magnus Roulette System™.
